Lexus IS-F becomes a cabriolet in two years

In the beginning of 2011 company Lexus plans to begin a batch production of the "charged" updating of coupe-cabriolet IS With, informs the US edition Car and Driver referring to own sources. The cabriolet is equipped with the aluminium three-section roof hiding in a coupe behind back armchairs for 20 sec.

"Hot" coupe-cabriolet Lexus IS will receive the five-litre eight-cylinder engine power of 420HP, working together with an eight-step automatic transmission. It's expected, that dynamic characteristics of the open version, because of strengthening of elements of a design of a body, can will worsen a little. We will notice, that sedan IS-F is dispersed to 100 km for 4,8 sec, and the maximum speed makes 270 km/h.

Besides, according to some information, company Lexus has begun working out of the version of model IS with a body "coupe" and the new car which will replace cabriolet SC430 in scale and will receive soft developing top. The detailed information on these cars yet is not informed.
