Aston Martin DBR9 ImagesIt was the year 2004 when Aston Martin first launched its DB9 grand tourer. It had the distinction of being the first automobile to be constructed at the Gaydon facility. The DB section of the name stems from David Brown, who has owned Aston Martin for the vast majority of its existence. The DB9 was begun by designer Ian Callum and finished by his successor Henrik Fisker.
