Maruti Kizashi will soon roll out on Indian Roads


Maruti Kizashi will soon roll out on Indian roads expected to be delivered within two weeks time as per a company executive.
The premium sedan already has 500 bookings which clearly exhibits its popularity.

Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager (Marketing)- Maruti Suzuki said that the Indian auto cars will start delivering the sedan in few weeks time. He also exclaimed that 500 around bookings have already been done.

Maruti in order to make a mark in the luxury segment in India introduced Maruti Kizashi in February. The premium sedan from the Indian small car leader will gun against Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Jetta and Honda Accord.

Maruti aims to import Maruti Kizashi from Japan in the beginning and already 500 around cars has been booked which is expected to roll out in the coming 3 to 4 months. The luxury sedan will be developed in Sagara unit of Suzuki's in Japan.

Maruti Kizashi comes with a price tag of Rs 16.5 lakh (ex-showroom) positioned in the A4 and A5 segment. This luxury segment covers only 3 per cent of the allover auto market.

Mr Srivastava said that the Indian auto market is increasing for the luxury cars. Maruti Kizashi has been well accepted by the country. While the car model will take sometime to bring the desired result. The auto company for this year speculates a growth of 26 per cent compared with the last years sales growth of 28 per cent. The reasons for the nominal growth are increasing interest rates, fuel cost, input cost.
