New Shielded Tata Safari at a price of Rs 60 lakh


The country’s largest auto maker by number, Tata Motors has come up with a spectacular solution to the growing security needs of prominent personalities in the country.
India has been facing serious terrorist attacks and the mob violence and it has become really essential to provide the safety of important persons. For now the bulletproof vehicles were mostly limited to a third party vendor. But now the Indian auto major has come up with its innovative armored Tata Safari for those who want to have full safety even on wheels.
The company has turned up with armored version of Tata Safari which is capable of handling even an assault of an AK-47 rifle. As per the reports, the exclusive version of Tata Safari has made it place in one of the most affordable bullet-proof vehicles in the country. The availability of this car variant is directly from the manufacturer at a price tag of Rs 60 lakh. If the normal version of this car, Tata Safari Dicor LX, Bharat Stage IV is considered, it comes at a price tag of Rs 8 lakh (Ex showroom Mumbai).
The designing of this new armored version of Tata Safari is not made different and is capable of resisting even a underbelly hand grenade explosion, keeping the fuel tank safe. The car comes equipped with explosive suppressant material. The car is blessed with a NIJ Level III/B6 protection which can drive the car even on flat tires to a distance of 50 km with a peak speed of 50-60 km/hr. The car is made bulletproof and even the transparent area can also handle a range of heavy loaded small arms. The car is given plush leather interiors with powerful suspension system which supports the extra weight of armory. The car is powerful enough to reach a peak speed of 150 km/hr. The speculations say that because it is a niche model from Tata Motors with a heavy price tag, it will not be available in the company’s outlets.
