Honda has officially presented a sports crossover

Company Honda has extended the first official photos of the new model developed specially for the North American market — crossover Honda Accord Crosstour.

The novelty is constructed on the basis of family Accord, but has received original design of a body in style of "an off-road four-door coupe" with strongly tilted rear quarter pillar of a body and the big fifth door.

Technical details about this car while are not present. According to preliminary data, the new model will be equipped with system of all wheel drive SH-AWD (as on model Honda Legend) and will receive two petrol motors — volume 2,4 both 3,5-litre and capacity 177 and 271HP accordingly. The same motors are established on the American versions Honda Accord.

Predictably, the prices on Honda Accord Crosstour will begin from $25,000US. Whether there will be a novelty in other world markets, for example in France where the American off-road car Honda Pilot already is on sale, yet is not informed.

Release of a new model by Honda
