Bell & Ross Customized Harley-Davidson

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Bell & Ross Customized Harley-Davidson.

Bell & Ross watches and Shaw Harley Davidson have teamed up to develop a one-off custom motorcycle: the Bell & Ross-inspired Nascafe Racer.

Shaw Harley Davidson approached Bell & Ross about a bike design project that was inspired by the watchmakers’ vision on performance, precision and engineering.

The same technical exactness that Bell & Ross rule by was taken into account with the build of the unique motorcycle.

The way that Bell & Ross develop and assemble their timepieces was reflected by the Shaw Harley Davidson master technicians when building the project bike, which is based on the Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Nightrain, one of the more radical Softails – long, low and naked and named by Willie G. Davidson.

The motorcycle was totally stripped down to every last nut and bolt in the Speed & Custom workshop of the East Sussex dealership, and every detail was taken into account on the rebuild.

Using the BR 01 Carbon – the iconic instrument produced by Bell & Ross – the Shaw Speed and Custom team mounted the timepiece in a handcrafted centre console using a machined section of aluminium.

The watch mounting positioned the timepiece in a perfect place for its original function as a professional tool for the rider.

A combination of anodised blue, carbon and stealth-like matt black custom paint was used on the bike to reflect the timepiece.

Luxury Car Models

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Luxury Car Models.

The best luxury car models have cutting edge technology, luxurious seats and grunt under the hood that purrrs like a kitten and roars like a lion when needed.

Here you will find best luxury sports cars that are admired the world over. Show some respect to Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Maserati and so much more.

Aston Martin V12 Vanquish      2008 Audi TT Roadster 3.2 quattro

World’s biggest car collector? US talk show host Jay Leno has one of the world’s biggest and best luxury car models collection. It is so large that he has to store them at the airport in three large hangers. He drives a different one to work every day. He is also a mechanic who writes a column for the magazine Popular Mechanics.

The world’s most expensive car you ask? Well that happens to be a Bugatti Type 41 Royale that was built in the 1930’s. Only 10 were ever made and there is one left which has never been driven. The price you ask? Well that would be $10 million. A perfect gift…for yourself of course!

Alfa Romeo
Giuseppe Merosi started "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili", A.L.F.A. in 1910 in Milan, Italy with an unmistakable European flair. Around 1915 A.L.F.A. joined the group of companies controlled by Nicola Romeo and Alfa Romeo was born.  It started with a rich racing history which continues with the best luxury cars today.

Aston Martin
The Aston Martin has a long English history and a much loved and more glamorous history with James Bond as his luxury sports cars of choice. Pictured above is the Vanquish which was driven seductively through the movie Die Another Day.  Janet Jackson is also an owner of an Aston Martin Vanquish valued at US$228,000.

Audi
Audi sponsors Elton John’s party at the Oscars known as the 'AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Event' which people beg to be invited to. It is THE A-list party around Oscar time.

This year they had the luxury car Audi Q7 up for auction to raise money for Elton’s AIDS foundation three months earlier than the public will have seen it.  Owners of an Audi are Ian Thorpe and Justin Timberlake with an Audi TT. Excellent luxury sports cars.

         Bugatti Veyron 16.4              Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - 2008

BMW
The best luxury sporty cars is what you will find in the Beckham's garages. That is why they turned to BMW recently. Due to a kidnap scare for Victoria and David Beckham they had two security cars custom made by BMW that are fully armoured with bulletproof windows at a cost of US$625,000. Drew Barrymore owns a BMW 745i at US$70,000; Kirstin Dunst has a BMW K6 at US$41,700 and Jennifer Garner owns a BMW 540i at US$52,000.

Bentley
The Bentley has been a favourite amongst rap stars and hip hoppers who only drive the best luxury sporty cars on the market. One you will find in many garages is the Bentley Continental with fans such as P.Diddy and Missy Elliott.

Other owners of these luxury sports cars are Paris Hilton, Justin Timberlake and Oprah with a US$400,000 Bentley Azure. The Beckhams also have a custom made Bentley with names of all the family members embroidered on the seats throughout the car.

Bugatti
The Bugatti Veyron supercar is the most expensive and exclusive ride on the road. Of this luxury sports car only 50 were made in 2005 and all were sold. Price tag US$1.2 million. Two of the buyers were David Beckham and Jay Leno.

Corvette
How can you go past the Corvette ZO6. A friend who owns a C6 Vette says that they are one of the best luxury sporty cars that retain their value. So if you need a new car to add to your collection you should take some advice from a Vette lover and owner and get this car.
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano                           Jaguar XKR

Ferrari
Ferrari is renown for their luxury sports cars and The Fiorano pictured above, continues the tradition. It has caused quite a sensation since it was released and has been showered with many awards.

The Ferrari Enzo is another spectacular car which retails for US$670,000. You can only buy one if you are personally invited. A known owner is Rod Stewart. Soccer star David Beckham owns 4 Ferrari’s at an estimated value of over US$1 million.

Gibbs Aquada
This is a revolutionary vehicle unlike any other. It is the world’s first amphibious luxury sports cars. This car turns into a speedboat in under 20 seconds. Richard Branson crossed the English Channel in one of these babies in a record 40 minutes, see the vision on their website.

Hummer
The Hummer is a 3 tonne, 8 foot car/truck/tank multi purpose vehicle. It came into the spotlight during its use in, Operation: Desert Storm.

Arnold Schwarzenegger saw them there and did everything he could including seeking approval from the Pentagon to become the first civilian to own a model which he got in 1992 for US$117,000. He started the trend and now owns 9 of them worth just under US$1million.

CXT
Ashton Kutcher owns one of these bad boys which retails at US$115,000. These are bigger and badder than a Hummer will ever be with luxury car options including leather seats with alligator trim, DVD, satellite radio, drop down theatre screen and a 4000 watt stereo.

Jaguar
Sexy luxury sports cars are what Jaguar is known for. The sleek and seductive Jaguar XKR pictured above is proof of
that.

The Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia has a national rally which is in its 38th year that celebrates the heritage of Jaguar and is on every Easter, visit www.jaguar.org.au to find out more.

In the UK the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club is the largest Jag club in the world with over 20,000 members, see www.jec.org.uk. Angelina Jolie owns a Jaguar XJ Sport at a cost of US$61,500. A wild cat driving a wild cat!

Lamborghini
Expensive luxury cars is what Lamborghini is all about. The winged doors that slide up, the design, the signs of affluence and success are so alluring and seductive. They are absolutely breathtaking.

Basketball superstar Kobe Bryant bought his wife Vanessa a Murcileago. But she doesn’t know how to drive a manual car so he spent US$100,000 to customise the whole car for her including adding automatic transmission, a two tone interior, DVD, chrome wheels, navigation system, sub woofers and an upgraded exhaust to make it go faster.

The value of the car after all the customization was upwards of US$400,000.

Lexus
“It’s our task to pursue perfection. We leave it to industry experts to acknowledge it” – Lexus website. Teri Hatcher owns a Lexus 470 valued at US$45,800.

Maserati
Ever since Ferrari took over ownership of Maserati in 1997 it reinvented and
re-launched the company with new designs meeting immense success.

They have since come up with beautiful designs for expensive luxury cars that have attracted a large appreciative audience.

The newly released Quattroporte comes with 4 million different customizable variations. It has become an instant best seller, an absolutely untouchable car.  The sky is the limit for this company now. It is very exciting.

Maybach
After an absence of over 60 years the Maybach is making a return and in spectacular style. These cars set the benchmark for exclusive, prestigious, expensive luxury cars.

They are unparalleled in design and creativity and are unsurpassed in luxury and comfort.  They are almost entirely handcrafted with immaculate craftsmanship.

The Exelero which is pictured above is a one off design which was commissioned by tyre company Fulda. The design came as a result of a competition between students at the Pforzheim Polytechnic Department of Transport Design. The winner was 24-year-old Fredrik Burchhardt.

It was created to show the new ultra-high performance Exelero tyre range from leading tyre manufacturer Fulda.

When you purchase your own Maybach you get you very own Personal Liaison Manager who will provide you with an uncompromising level of customer care and service anytime, anywhere to make sure you are always satisfied. Ladies and gentlemen, the Maybach has arrived.

In 2004 Jennifer Lopez bought her husband Marc Anthony a wedding gift of a Maybach 62 at a cost of US$800,000.

If you want to show off your style and European flair then you will definitely want to be seen in these little trend setters.

Porsche
When the 911 turbo was released in 1974 it became the quintessential sports car. It is quite possibly one of the most famous sports cars in history.

Jerry Seinfeld loves these foreign luxury cars and actually owns 47 of them. He keeps some of them in his high tech garage in Manhattan which can store 20 cars. The garage took 2 years to build and cost him US$1.4million.

Rolls Royce
The Rolls Royce 100EX Centenary Experimental Car is a car that will come completely hand made but will not be available in showrooms for a few years.

Since the Maybach returned with its exceptionally high standards everyone has been trying to get a slice of this utter-exclusive market.

As a gift for performing at her 50th birthday Oprah gave Stevie Wonder a US$400,000 Phantom. Wouldn’t we all love to be her friend.

2008 Spyker C12 Zagato

Spyker
This is one of the most exotic foreign luxury cars on the market. The Spyker is not a very well known car but it certainly does get your attention when you see it. It looks like the sort of car superheroes drive around on their days off! Lets hope most of them don't know these beauties exist otherwise we will all be in trouble.

The C12 Zagato was unveiled at the 77th Geneva International Motor Show.

The world premiere of this ultra-exclusive version of the C12 range celebrates Spykers entry into the world of Formula One. The Dutch supercar manufacturer acquired the Midland Formula 1 team and had Formula One race driver Adrian Sutil unveil it to raptuous applause.

America’s Most Expensive 2010 Cars to Insure

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents America’s Most Expensive 2010 Cars to Insure.

Beyond the price tag, there’s maintenance and, of course, auto insurance. Luckily, Insure.com has made a list of America’s most expensive 2010 cars to insure.

The list includes only 2010 models and is based on the average insurance for a 40-year-old male with a good driving record and a 12-mile commute. The policies surveyed include liability protection and uninsured motorist coverage. The prices set by the insurers are based not just on the cars themselves, but also on the driving habits of those most likely to own such a car.

They found that the least expensive 2010 car to insure is the Mazda Tribue i at $1,070.25 annually.

The most expensive 2010 car to insure is the 6-cylinder Porsche 911 Carrera GT2 2-door coupe. That’s no surprise, as this sort of luxury vehicle appeals to those who’d like to test the car’s top speed of over 200 mph. The price to insure this 500+ hp monster of a sports car averages at $2,943.78 annually.

Acura Releases Refreshed 2012 TL Luxury Sedan

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Acura Releases Refreshed 2012 TL Luxury Sedan.

Like Toyota has Lexus and Nissan has Infiniti, fellow Japanese automaker Honda has the Acura marque. And one of its best offerings the TL sedan offers a compelling alternative to its rivals. It’s at the very cutting edge of automotive technology, with one of the best engines in the business, the most advanced all-wheel drive system and all the bells and whistles you could ask for in the luxurious cabin.

The trouble is, for some buyers at least, that the styling is a bit too edgy. So in an effort to broaden its appeal, Acura has released the new facelifted TL for 2012 with a more subtle shape. The changes have been made primarily to the front end and the rear, giving it a slightly more conventional look without losing its trademark angular design. The new TL was launched at the Chicago Auto Show currently underway.

Original Michael Keaton Batmobile

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Original Michael Keaton Batmobile.

Batmobiles from Tim Burton’s Batman Returns is officially up for auction, and the bidding wraps up in mere hours. According to the seller, this car was the best of the three used for filming, and comes with full documentation for the discerning collector. Power is served up by a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 with Hedman headers and an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold that bumps power north of 200 ponies.

This particular Batmobile also comes with hydraulics for easy loading and unloading, which you’ll use because the auction also throws in a custom trailer for transportation. As of right now, the bidding has ratcheted up to $311,000 with the reserve price not yet met. The Buy It Now price is set at $499,000, and the vehicle is located in Clearwater, Florida.

The seller says that if no one reaches the reserve price before the eBay Motors auction comes to a close, the car will be auctioned on live television instead, which probably means it will appear in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sold Out

This is the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible. It's arguably the most desirable four-seat convertible on the market, and the first one to come out of Italy in decades. It's been engineered with input from Ferrari, has room to carry you and three of your friends for one of the best wind-in-your-hair experiences available. You may want one, but you can't have one. Because they're sold out.

The model – also known as the GranCabrio overseas – has helped Maserati rebound to pre-recession sales levels in the United States, while the GranTurismo coupe and Quattroporte sedan have failed to recovered. The new convertible, with its myriad customization choices, has proven so popular that there's now a waiting list to get your hands on one. That's what we'd call a success.

World’s Most Expensive Model Car

The most expensive model car in the world!

To a collector of model cars, a model of the Bugatti Veyron might be the centerpiece of their collection. It is, after all, the world’s most expensive car. Of course, for the truly dedicated—and well off—collector, the only option is the world’s most expensive model car.

The Bugatti Veyron Diamond Limited Edition, a collaboration between luxury designer Stuart Hughes and Swiss model car engineer Robert Gülpen, is a 1:18 scale replica of the ultimate luxury car, rendered in 24k gold, platinum and 7.2 carats of single cut flawless diamonds.

The hoods and steering are functional and the engine is highly detailed. This fantastic model car weighs in at 15 pounds and took two months to produce.

Only three of the most expensive model car in the world have been created, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, glass house, aluminum case and photographic documentation of its manufacture. Even more phenomenal, the Bugatti Veyron Diamond Limited Edition costs twice as much as the car on which it is based—US $3 million.

Lets read about the Most Expensive Golf Carts!

It shouldn’t be surprising that golfers, numbering doctors and other affluent individuals among their ranks, have some fairly expensive pieces of equipment available to them. From clubs to bags and even ball markers, there seems to be no end to the luxurious versions of standard golf equipment.

Hummer H2 golf cart – $19,999

Based on the military’s HMMWV, or Humvee, Hummer proved popular in the States before General Motors’ bankruptcy forced them to look into selling the brand. This Hummer H2 body kit, licensed by GM, is built over a 3.75 hp aluminum club car chassis. The electric cart is an NEV capable of speeds up to 20 mph and includes headlights, turn signals and brake lights. As for convenience, the cart also includes a cooler under the hood, storage under the seat, a tinted windshield, fog lights, glove boxes, a fold-down tailgate and, of course, drink holders. It’s stamped with H2 logos on the sides and rear bumper and has another pair of bumpers embroidered into the seats. It even has the option of either a carbon fiber or wood grain dashboard.

Garia Edition Soleil de Minuit Golf Car – $52,000

From the Porsche factory in Finland comes a golf car with practically any feature you could ask for. The aesthetically pleasing cart is a limited edition of the standard Garia golf car with custom paint, two-colored hand-stitched seats and a carbon roof lined with alcantara, as well as standard Garia features such as two golf bag carriers, a painted utility box, scratch-resistant side skirts, a scorecard and penholder on the steering wheel. Perhaps the most impressive Garia feature, though, is the optional dashboard refrigerator. You’ll never want for a cold drink on the links again.

Garia LSV – $62,000

This model of Garia’s expensive golf cart has one significant advantage over its less expensive predecessors–it’s street legal. Equipped with seatbelts, side mirrors, hydraulic brakes and a 4 hp electric motor capable of speeds up to 25 mph, this luxury golf cart has all the safety features necessary to allow it to be classified as a roadworthy low-speed vehicle. Like the Soleil de Minuit, above, the LSV may also be equipped with such amenities as hand-stitched seats, digital instrumentation layout, a stereo and a dashboard refrigerator. If you order directly from Garia, you can even customize the Garia LSV with your choice of over 100 different body, roof and dashboard colors, three different colors of upholstery and 10″ or 12″ wheels.

The cockpit of the TechArt GTstreet also differs distinctly from the stock 911 Turbo. Among the differences is an exclusive leather interior with color-contrasted stitching and sporty CarboBlack highlights. The coupe is further equipped with an ergonomically shaped TechArt sport steering wheel, aluminum foot pedals, foot rest and shifter, as well as with illuminated door sills sporting the TechArt logo.

German TechArt studio will present in Geneva its latest tire-burner based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo 997 series super-coupe. While most tuners focus their efforts on eye-popping exterior enhancements, TechArt’s engineers have centered their attention

With its 2001 TechArt GTstreet, based on the Porsche 911 Turbo of the 996 model series, TechArt created one of the fastest and most powerful street-legal sports cars of its time. The next evolutionary stage of this fascinating concept celebrates its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2007. The new TechArt GTstreet, based on the 911 Turbo of the latest 997 series, starts at $320,000. Like the predecessor the new GTstreet edition centers on a powerful engine. The 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat engine is modified by the TechArt engine specialists and now develops 630 bhp at 6,800 rpm, up from standard 480 bhp. Peak torque increases to 605 lb-ft at 4,500 rpm.

The TechArt GTstreet rear fascia with integrated carbon-fiber diffuser contributes to the strong downforce generated on the rear axle. It also provides the perfect backdrop for the quad exhaust of the TechArt high-performance exhaust system. TechArt Automobildesign offers a number of versions of its popular Formula wheel in sizes 8.5Jx20 in front and 12Jx20 on the rear axle. GTstreet buyers can choose from several color combinations and between the one-piece Formula and the multi-piece Formula II designs. The Formula II wheel features an exchangeable wheel lip. For optimal tires TechArt chose ContiSportContact 3 high-performance tires in sizes 245/30 ZR20 and 325/25 ZR20. The large 20-inch wheels also provide the necessary space for the especially powerful and durable TechArt high-performance brake system. It features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 390-millimeter discs on the front axle. The rear axle is fitted with 365-millimeter discs and four-piston fixed calipers. The TechArt GTstreet comes with a TechArt VarioPlus coil-over suspension that is based on the electronically adjustable PASM damping system of the 911 Turbo. This chassis allows individual ride-height lowering by up to 25 millimeters and push-button selection of two different damper settings, “Normal” or “Sport.” However, the dampers are not limited to these presets. Sporty driving automatically results in firmer damper settings in both modes, thus combining excellent ride comfort during normal driving with agile and responsive handling during fast cornering.

The body kit for the TechArt GTstreet was created in the wind tunnel, and offers an optimal symbiosis of aerodynamic down force, minimized drag and striking design. The front fascia of the GTstreet with retractable carbon-fiber splitter produces down force on the front axle and provides radiator, oil coolers and brakes with more cooling air, thanks to its large, striking air inlets. The auxiliary headlamp units with daytime running lights and fog lamps improve active safety. They also give the car even more passing clout. The TechArt GTstreet fender flares on the front axle add 10 mm to the two-door’s width and give it an even more dynamic appearance. But that’s not all: The air outlets behind the front wheel houses optimize brake venting. The larger air ducts in the rear sidewalls provide engine and inter coolers with a larger supply of cooling air. For an optimal transition between front and rear fenders the TechArt designers have developed rocker panels that complement the new contours. TechArt mirror and headlamp moldings provide the finishing touches. The TechArt roof spoiler extends the roof line and optimizes airflow to the adjustable rear airfoil of the GTstreet.
