Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited models sold in the United States feature a standard 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 235 horsepower (175 kW) and 232 lb.-ft. (232 N•m) of torque coupled with a six-speed automatic transaxle that comes standard with Auto Stick. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transaxle deliver excellent performance and fuel efficiency, as well as smooth quiet operation. The Sebring Convertible's 3.5-liter V-6 engine achieves 16 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.

The Chrysler Sebring Convertible has a rigid body structure to provide a quiet, comfortable ride and help eliminate cowl shake, even when the top is down. The front-wheel-drive architecture and the three-box vehicle design contribute to a body that is 2.5 times stiffer in twist and 1.5 times stiffer in bending than the previous-generation Chrysler Sebring Convertible. These refinements make the Chrysler Sebring Convertible structure stiffer than other convertibles on the market that cost thousands of dollars more.

According to Chrysler, the ecoVoyager is able to travel the first 40 miles on the 16 kw lithium-ion battery pack alone before needing an assist from the fuel cell stack and 10,000 psi hydrogen tanks.The Chrysler ecoVoyager is no wuss, either as it can motivate from 0 - 60 mph less than 8 seconds with a top speed of 115 mph. Chrysler is also boasting that the ecoVoyager can run the quarter mile in just 12.9 seconds, but seeing is believing on this statistic, so we'll just have to wait and see if the automaker can put its money where its mouth is at.

2009 Saturn Sky Redline Roadster Sport Car

First introduced as a high-performance version of the Sky roadster in 2007, the Red Line turns out decent performance from an Ecotec turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 260 horsepower at 5300 rpm and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm. These figures give this engine the notable distinction of having the best horsepower-to-displacement ratio of any GM engine and the most powerful motor in the Ecotec family. Gasoline direct injection technology helps the engine produce more power while maintaining the lower fuel consumption of a small displacement port-injected engine. With direct injection, fuel is delivered directly to the combustion chamber to create a more complete burn of the air/fuel mixture. Less fuel is required to produce the equivalent horsepower. EPA figures for the Redline are a decent 21 and 30 for highway driving. Despite those numbers, the Redline gets to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds.

To compensate for the addition of more power, the car’s chassis has been tuned for better handling and its braking system has been upgraded for quicker stopping. Other technical highlights include a torque-sensing, limited-slip differential and StabiliTrak electronic stability control. Like all Saturn Skys, the Red Line model boasts a near 50:50 weight distribution, independent front and rear suspension, an extremely stiff body, and coil-over Bilstein monotube shocks.

Other modifications include a slightly stiffer suspension, a unique front fascia with a different foglight/grille treatment, as well as blackened headlamp surrounds and a rear bumper that has two fat rectangular exhaust tips, a single reverse lamp and a cute little "turbo" badge on its cheek. Inside, the Red Line gets leather wrapping for that still-too-big steering wheel, unique embroidery, metallic sill plates, stainless steel pedal covers and unique gauges with a digital boost gauge in the Driver Information Center.

Company Mazda in Frankfurt has prepared the conceptual version of car MX-5 for a September motor show with a body "speedster".
